ABOUT US:

I started ‘OFF script’ because I couldn’t find a space in the music industry that felt like home; not just for me, but for people who process the world differently.

As a neurodivergent creative, I’ve often found myself navigating spaces that weren’t built with us in mind: fast-paced environments that prioritise performance over perspective, polish over authenticity. OFF script is my response to that; a space where neurodivergent photographers and journalists can create without masking, compromise, or the pressure to fit into someone else’s framework.

For us, music isn’t just something we listen to. It’s something we move through, hold onto, and make sense of the world with. Our team is made up of individuals with diverse neurotypes: Autism, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar, Dyslexia, and more. What connects us isn’t a diagnosis, but a shared commitment to noticing things that others miss, and telling stories others overlook.

We cover artists who push boundaries, scenes that resist definition, and moments that exist between the lines. Whether it’s a photo gallery that captures the sensory chaos of a concert, or a review that reads more like a diary entry than a press release, OFF script is where it lives and thrives!
