In Another Life: Sombr’s Debut EP

Released on September 15, 2023, ‘In Another Life’ marked Sombr's first extended play, co-produced with well-known producer Tony Berg. This EP introduced listeners to Sombr's signature blend of introspective songwriting and minimalist production. The eight-track collection, totalling approximately 29 minutes, features standout tracks such as "Burner Phone," "Ivy," "Don't Let Me Down," "You're So Pretty," and "Why Are We Like This"

 

The EP served as a foundation for Sombr’s live performances, incorporating songs from ‘In Another Life’ into his setlist alongside a variety of his other releases during his opening shows for his debut tour. 

 

From TikTok to Global Popularity

Sombr initially gained attention on TikTok around March 2025 with viral clips of his tracks “Back to Friends” and “Undressed”. These songs then eventually became successful: both singles charted on the Billboard Global 200. “Back to Friends” earned a place on Spotify’s Global Top 50, which is a remarkable accomplishment for a completely independently written and produced track. “Undressed" followed quickly, surpassing 300 million streams by July 2025.

Headlining Tour: The Late Nights & Young Romance

The announcement alone triggered excitement amongst his fans, with pre-sale tickets selling out within hours across North America, Europe, and Australia. 

 

As demand amplified throughout 2025, Sombr added an additional European leg to The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour, scheduled for early 2026, with newly announced dates in Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Vienna. Tickets for the 2026 shows sold out within minutes, forcing several venues to upgrade to larger capacities. For many fans, the opportunity to experience his music live offers a rare kind of connection, one that invites them into the emotional world Sombr creates through his raw, intimate sound. 

 

Since kicking off in March 2025, ‘The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour’ has taken Sombr across a global map of sold-out shows and festival appearances. He has already had the privilege to headline in cities like: Toronto, London, Amsterdam, and Cologne.

Whereas many young artists are quickly absorbed into industry cycles of image-building and viral bait, he’s held firm to the quiet, solitary process that initially defined his work. 

 

His debut single, "Nothing Left to Say," released in 2021, was written during late-night sessions, reflecting his dedication to capturing genuine emotion. This track, along with his successive releases, demonstrates his ability to produce captivating music independently, without the influence of a large production team.
